When the markets are as unstable and frustrating as they have been over the past several years, even the most patient investors may come to question the wisdom of the investment plan they have set in place.
In addition, life changes may have come your way, altering your financial priorities. You may be curious about different financial strategies or just want to make sure that your plan is still the best one for you. In order to stay committed to your plan, you need to have complete confidence that it is still working for you and taking you where you want to go.
If this resonates with you, here’s what I would like to offer: A cup of coffee and a second opinion.
A Financial Plan Checkup
By appointment, you’re welcome to come in and sit with me for a while. I’ll ask you to outline your financial goals briefly and review your current strategy when it comes to your portfolio, insurance, or 401(k) plan so that I know where you stand, where you want to be, and so that we are on the same page with your objectives. In this way, we can better define your financial goals.
I can answer any questions you may have about the market, strategies, or basic financial tips and principles. Then, we can apply your concerns, ideas, and aims to your current plan to see how everything lines up.
It Never Hurts to Ask
Once we have a thorough overview of your financial picture, we will be able to reevaluate and readjust. If I think your portfolio continues to be well suited to your long-term goals despite the market turmoil, I’ll gladly tell you so and send you on your way.
If on the other hand, I think your plan no longer fits your objectives, I’ll explain why, in plain English. And, if you’d like, I’ll recommend some alternatives. It may be that minor adjustments are needed based on your age, current economic woes, or a change in priorities and plans.
It never hurts to take a second look at your financial plan to ensure that it is up-to-date, still applicable to all aspects of your life, and ideally suited to achieve your long-term dreams. Regardless of the outcome of our second look, you will have full confidence in me, in your decisions, and in your financial plan.
Either way, the coffee’s on me!
Let me help you evaluate where you are now, determine where you would like to go, and address any gaps that may be apparent. Contact me so we can arrange a convenient time and place for us to meet.Send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call my office at (612) 746-2261.
